Marcel Schwittlick’s work, Upward Spiral is a series of ten wax drawings on paper. Every paper depicts a single spiral, a motive regarded by the artist as an allegory for his life, its ups and downs, especially in the COVID – 19 pandemic period. Spiral motion is, in fact, a trajectory alike to the constant fluctuation of emotional and mental health. Exhibited works are a part of 144 edition series.
