The possibility of adopting different roles and embodied characters in the online world has radically changed the traditional understanding of conventional identities. this hyperspace of fragmented, multiplied and decentralized constructions opens new philosophical positions and post-human terms. by integrating and expanding technology into all spheres of our lives, the understanding of identity is fundamentally changing. Due to avatars the digital and the physical emerges and is followed by a re-thinking of rigid binaries like race, gender, class or sexuality.
