In her work Carving is a form of energy, Ivana Pašut examines the possibilities of stone carving, the transformation of matter, and the psychophysical energy she invests in the work. The whole process of turning a massive stone into dust is presented in the form of a video in which a rhythmic sound of chisel hitting against the stone can be heard. Pašut understands all the segments and products of this work as a meditative ritual.
