In the installation Speaking I, Maja Bojanić deals with notions of emptiness and the impossibility of leaving traces. One segment of this work shows the artist’s monologue deprived of sound, while alongside it lies a paper transcript printed with white color on a white surface. The idea of the work is an attempt to form a whole without noticeable traces and legible messages, and it is up to the viewer to try to fill the emptiness with personal interpretations.
